I, Stacey Fisher, have nine years of teaching experience in public schools. Six years were spent in lower elementary and three years at the middle school level. I hold a Ph.D. in Exceptional Learning with an emphasis in Literacy from Tennessee Technological University. I just completed my second year as assistant professor at East Tennessee State University.

I was a Graduate Assistant in the Exceptional Learning program, Literacy concentration. I was an assistant in the Teaching Mathematics with Chess program at Tennessee Tech University.
I was an instructor for a graduate-level Critical Literacy class.
I worked with the Coordinator for the IRA Children's Choice Awards for TN for the two-year duration of the project in our state.
